THE PHANTOM BAND' 'Throwing Bones'
released in the UK on 02/07/2007
on Trial & Error Recordings

The Phantom Band’s sound is an atmospheric mix of rhythmic psych rock and folk melodicism.
Layers of garage-swamp guitar, crunching sci-fi synths and floor thumping Zep-kraut percussion
combine beneath singer Rick Redbeard’s distinctive vocals to create a sound that is thrillingly original and infectious.
All of this is best experienced in their blazing visceral live shows
that have left ceilings cracked, stages smoking and dogs howling
making this Glasgow six-piece an act not to be missed.

The band’s first single, Throwing Bones, is released on Trial & Error on 2nd July 2007.
With an album in the pipeline they are undoubtedly going to be one to watch out for in 2007-8.

The Phantom band visit London for the launch of their first single on 14th June at the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch
where they will be joined by label-mates Economy Wolf and Doloroso.
There will also be a launch party in Glasgow on 1st July at Mono record store.
